This is a newsletter about what's actually possible with AI right now — told through the things I'm building.

I'm David Flynn. I run Automatic, a Nashville AI studio. Every couple of weeks I write up something from inside the work: a new capability worth knowing about, a thing we shipped for a client, or an honest take on what's hype and what's not.

It's not an AI explainer newsletter. There are plenty of those. It's a practitioner's log, written for the people I'd actually want to work with — owners and operators at small and mid-sized businesses who want to know what their peers are doing before they figure out their own move.
